When discussing my goals in the consultation Tom made me feel at ease, positive and enthusiastic about the task at hand. The original plan was to loose around 20kg to get to my target weight for an operation to remove the excess skin created from massive weight loss. He did his own individual profile of me, including using biosignature to see where my problem areas where and to what kind of nutrition and exercise I needed to do to target these areas.

At first I was apprehensive, as a lot of women are probably about having a male trainer as I had always had female trainers but he is one of the best trainers I have had. We had two sessions a week at first and that, along with guidance with nutrition the weight came off steadily. After a while I left work to pursue the weight loss goal as I came to a plateau but once having more time Tom gave me a hard, but effective workout regime that I started to do 5 days a week, along with a recommended diet the weight came off very effectively and I managed to loose around 9kg in two weeks at one point which got me to my target weight ready for my operation.

Sessions where difficult and push you to the limit but the routines were personalised, recorded and rotated to keep things interesting while working all muscle groups and get the best results. Weight was checked regularly to see progress which was all kept in a personal diary so Tom could track not only weight loss but also how I was progressing in fitness and tracking increasing ability in performance.

I wont lie and say it was easy to loose the weight or to keep motivated with going to the gym, but having someone like Tom there to train every week, give advice, motivate and push you, it keeps you focused and on track to gain and maintain your goals. I have learnt important lessons not only in nutrition but lifestyle changes and training that hopefully will keep me fit and maintain my goals in the long run.
