“Having putting on lots of weight for years, I decided to join the gym to see if I could become fitter and lose weight. Two years after joining, the weight was all still there with very little improvement. I began to think that having spent hundreds of pounds on membership and still no results? Where was I going wrong? I realised that I had not made any changes to my lifestyle, my eating habits remained the same: practically living off junk food and eating meals at irregular in- tervals. At the gym, I had very little knowledge of sessions with him for just 1 month, I have already lost just over 1 stone. I feel energetic, fitter and healthier in myself already.
Tom is an excellent personal trainer, who I see as a training buddy, making what I should be getting out of a session, so I just tended to wonder around the various machines with no clue of what I should actually be gaining from them.
It was only until I looked in the mirror a year on, I realised that I was excessively overweight and this person was not me (now reaching 15 stone). So I decided to rejoin the gym in a bid to seek professional help. When I saw Tom around the gym and read his profile, I knew that he would be the one to help me escape this overweight body and help me to improve my lifestyle.
